Primarily used as a kriya (cleansing) practice, these vibrations produced by breath and tone are used to expel stagnant energy and gather fresh energy into our organs. Organs are not just functional, they are ‘organs of perception ‘ and respond to thoughts, emotions, seasons, sounds… By repetition of the six healing sounds, we start to become familiar with the different qualities of each organ. The specificity of this practice helps us to develop clear intention. We also practice The Inner Smile, a simple and profound focus that can bring instant relief, acceptance, and by its very nature, transformation.
Dating back to sixth century BC China, the Tao (pronounced Dao) is a spiritual pathway. Like yoga, it is not a religion but more a way of life.
